Join us at our center on Friday, May 24th, for a celebration of the hilarious and informative how-to collection, How to Cook a Pizza for Your Parents." Written by 1st-3rd graders enrolled in our After School Program, you can expect to learn many things when reading the anthology, such as doing backflips, pranking your sister, and becoming a teacher. Enjoy snacks, cake, and readings by the young authors themselves.

The Young Writers’ Council Book Release Party
Join us Saturday to celebrate the Young Writers’ Council (YWC) and their two beautiful and powerful publications, This is My Happy Face and i said what i said. One a narrative on mental health, and the other a collaborative literacy magazine, these important works were created "by youth, for youth." There will be readings, signings, cake and more.
