It’s LIT featured at Bayou Day

On May 12, 2017, It’s LIT made an appearance at Ripple Effect’s 2017 Bayou Day! Big Class Teen interns, Nia Gates and Chasity Hunter, guided students in writing poems and stories from the perspective of water and the Bayou.

After completing poems, students earned Water Dollars, which allowed students to purchase popsicles from It’s LIT and other stations set up along the Bayou!

Ripple Effect is a community of teachers, design experts, educators and water experts working to establish water literacy in schools and communities.
